Guardians play a very important part, as partners and supporters, of what we do at Mountain Ash Labradoodles. Whilst we aim to match all our Labradoodle puppies with the very best care in loving families, this is especially true for our breeding dogs! When we have a breeding quality puppy, we may seek a Guardian who will give them a healthy and nurturing forever home.
Guardian Dogs return to us for health testing and breeding purposes for up to 2 litters. They are then desexed and the agreement is completed.
There are some excellent benefits to being a Guardian: Your labradoodle is the ‘pick of the litter’ and you will have a loving place to leave them when you go on holidays or have a weekend away. There are also responsibilities such as, ensuring the Guardian Dog has the nutrition, exercise and training she requires as well as having a safe and secure environment. Guardians must live within an hour of the Dandenong Ranges (East of Melbourne).
